Meet the "Clean Team"

Hi Everyone!

I taught elementary school for 34 years in upstate NY and now work part time at our local library. I am married and have a son, daughter, son-in-law and a little poodle named AbbyGirl.
I became a Stampin Up! demo in 2009 after being a “professional” SU! customer for many years. About 10 years ago one of my third graders brought me a beautiful basket of cards for Christmas. When I asked him where he got them he just shrugged and said, “Oh they are all over my house. My mother makes them.” That was it – I was hooked! I called her up and booked a party. When she retired as a demo I signed up to keep the supplies coming! As a member of Mary Fish’s Pretty Pals, I also design for Pals Paper Arts.
I was delighted when Lesley invited me to join the Freshly Made Sketches Design Team. I love clean lines and crisp designs! Here’s hoping we inspire you to join us and have fun creating!

Hello everyone!

I live in Bridgewater, Massachusetts and by day I'm a number cruncher working in a bank.

I've been a crafter of some sort most of my life, either doing cross stitch, sewing, drawing, decorative painting or pretty much anything I could get my hands on. I don't remember exactly when I started to make cards, but it all began with some Christmas cards that I made at a friends house. That lead to being part of a monthly Stampin' Up! card club to me finally realizing that I'd be crazy not to be a demonstrator myself! I think I've always been obsessed with paper. I love the way it looks, I love the feel of good heavy paper in my hands, and I even love how it smells! So it gives me great pleasure to work with it every chance I get.

Howdy from Texas! I am so honored to be a part of the Clean Team. I started doing paper crafts about seven years ago when a friend encouraged me to scrapbook my wedding photos. I never intended to do anything beyond that, yet here I am. Making my first card really got me hooked and I’ve been making them for almost four years now. I try to stamp something every day because of the joy and satisfaction that comes with creating. I’m a challenge addict and give them credit for strengthening my skills and encouraging me to stamp more.

I’m still in the process of figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. If professional student ever becomes lucrative, I will have found my dream job as I love learning new things. For now I’m enjoying being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and sharing my love of stamping with others. I am blessed to have an amazing husband who spoils me rotten, cooks me dinner every night, and tolerates my collection of cats.

PAST DESIGNERS

Hi there, and greeetings from the Gold Coast, Australia.

I started into this wonderful world of papercrafting in 2008, just dabbling here and there, and I say "dabbling" because for the life of me I just couldn't get anything to match - I had no idea how colour tonings could range soo vastly from inks to papers to ribbons to embellishments, you name it, and oh .... the number of unfinished (or more appropriately unstarted ...) projects! That was until I was introduced to Stampin Up in 2009 ... and well, the rest is history! I love to take part in challenges and am constantly inspired by all the talented artists that I come across.

I am partner to Tony who is a mad scientist "hopeful" inventor, Mum to Ayden who is 19 and studying engineering at Griffith University and me ... I work full time as an Office Manager for a scientific research company.

I am looking forward to being a part of "Freshly Made Sketches" and am honoured to be mixing company with a fabulously talented team!

My name is Lesley and I am a primary teacher in Canada. I am happily married and we have one sweet furbaby named "Rolley the Rocket Dog". Crafting has become quite an obsession for me.  I have been blogging for about 3 years now, posting my cards and over a year ago, I created the challenge blog called "The Paper Players". I love blogging and creating and now I am excited to share my new venture called "Freshly Made Sketches". We sure hope you will join us for the weekly sketch challenge.
